So, over Black Friday I bought a few things from Life’s Entropy– foundation elixir, two Cosmos lipsticks, a few samples. Today I will just be going over the foundation elixir. Ordered Friday, November 28. received Monday, December 22nd. Jane from Life’s Entropy warned about a long TAT due to some mishaps beyond my knowledge, so I wasnt surprised. And now, I finally get to try it out!

The reason I got it is that foundations are always slightly off for me. A shade too light or two shades too dark is pretty normal so I generally go for the slightly lighter one. I am currently using Chanel Vitalumiere in 050 (along with Cargo activating primer and Shiro’s finishing powder.

I added a tiny amount, but even then it was much to dark.

You can also see that its much less yellow-toned. I ended up throwing that mix out (after I tried it on and looked too much like Carlton) and starting over with about 2x as much foundation and a slightly smaller amount of Elixir.

Post elixir in natural sunlight and stupid model pose. One side looks too cool because my curtains are blue. Sorry!

Overall, I like the product okaaay. I wish it was more liquidy, so that I can get a tiny drop out instead of squeezing and although the slight cooling works for me I doubt most people are looking for that.
